Special Events

Cookout & Carry-In
Tired of waiting for something to do?  Well, wait no more!  The Fairfield Parks & Recreation Department puts on a great monthly carry-in dinner at the Community Arts Center.  There will be plenty of food and entertainment to pass the time by.  Bring your friends and neighbors or come by yourself and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

Donut Days
Enjoy a warm cup of coffee and a donut in the Senior Lounge.  Come to socialize with friends, surf the internet, watch Sports Center on the television, or read up on current events in the morning newspaper.  A tasteful way to start your day!
When: 2nd Wednesday of the month at 8:30 am
            4th Thursday of the month at 8:30 am

Game Night
Game Night brings people together in a fun and friendly atmosphere.  Every month we will get together for an evening of games, food, and prizes.  This is a great way to learn a new game and to meet new people.  Cost is $3.  Check the 55 Plus Newsletter for more information. 
When:  3rd Tuesday of the month at 5 pm

Ice Cream Social
Don’t miss this delicious opportunity to meet with friends and neighbors while enjoying a bowl of ice cream topped with a variety of your favorite toppings.   
When: 1st Tuesday of the month at 12 pm

Out to Lunch & Breakfast Bunch
Good food and great times is what it’s all about.  Bring your fiends and meet new people as we tour area restaurants. 
When:  2nd Friday of the month at 9 am for Breakfast
             4th Friday of the month at 11 am for Lunch

Seniors Taking Action
Seniors Taking Action is a weekly program that brings local, state, and government speakers to the Community Arts Center to educate us on a different topic each week.                
When: 1st & 3rd Monday of the month at 2 pm

500, bingo, Euchre, Hand & Foot, Hearts, Mah Jongg, Texas Hold 'em, Bridge tournaments, Bocce ball, Corn hole, Shuffleboard, and more.

The Community Arts Center Senior Lounge

Open to adults 55 years and better, the Senior Lounge is a great place to gather and participate in leisure activities. Features include an 8' regulation billiards table, television, computer stations, a lending library, and freshly brewed coffee served all day.Parking spaces are located outside the Senior Lounge in the west parking lot, allowing for easier accessibility to the lounge. Hours are Monday thru Friday 8 am - 5 pm. Click here to take a virtual tour through the Senior Lounge.
