Fairfield summer swim team

Area youth, ages 18 and younger, are invited to participate on the City of Fairfield summer swim team at the Fairfield Aquatic Center. All swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool without flotation aides. The team competes in the tri-county swim league with public and private pools.

Those interested can attend an informational meeting on May 14 at 7 p.m. at the Community Arts Center, 411 Wessel Drive.

Practice begins the first week in June and concludes with championships in late July. The cost to participate on the swim team is $75 ($80 non-residents).

Great Miami Valley YMCA Flippers

YMCA competitive swimming is open to ages 6 and older who can swim the length of the pool without a floatation device. All skill levels are encouraged to participate.

The season runs from October to March. Practices are held at the Fairfield YMCA, Fitton YMCAand East Butler YMCA for different age groups.

Swim Team is for YMCA members only.
