Old Business (A) DEVELOPMENT SERVICES COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance to amend Section 1105.01(11) of Ordinance No. 166-84, the Codified Ordinances of Fairfield, Ohio to adopt certain revisions to the Design, Construction and Materials Specifications Handbook to reflect changes and current industry standards in construction techniques and specifications for materials used in construction of public improvements.
(B) PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance to authorize the release of the maintenance bond and accept the public improvements for Lunsford Estates Subdivision.
7. New Business (A) PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE (1) Simple Motion: Motion requesting that no hearing be held on the liquor permit application in the name of 1125 Inc, DBA Hide-A-Way Lounge, 1125 Symmes Road (Permit Class: D5 & D6). (B) PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute and file the application for financial assistance and enter into an agreement with Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) for a grant to fund a portion of the River Road Bridge Replacement Project and declaring an emergency.
(2) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute and file the application for financial assistance and enter into an agreement with the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) for a grant to fund a portion of the South Gilmore Road Widening-Mack Road to Kolb Drive Project and declaring an emergency.
(3) Ordinance to authorize and direct the City Manager to advertise and bid the City Building remodeling as one general contract.
(4) Resolution to authorize the City Manager to issue a letter of support by the City of Fairfield, Ohio for the City of Springdale, Ohio’s proposed improvements to the State Route Four and Interstate 275 Interchange and declaring an emergency.
(C) COMMUNITY & PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE (1) Simple Motion: Motion appointing Fairfield residents Jerry Keller, Peg Collins and Mark Scharringhausen to the Ward Boundary Review Commission. (D) DEVELOPMENT SERVICES COMMITTEE Marty Judd, Chairman; Mike Snyder, Vice-Chairman; Mitch Rhodus, Member (1) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a Community Reinvestment Agreement for tax incentives with the Brown-Campbell Company and declaring an emergency.
(2) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Tilsley and Associates for design development and project management for the Northern Route 4 Gateway Stanchion and declaring an emergency.
(3) Ordinance amending The Traffic and General Offences Codes of Ordinance No. 166-84, The Codified Ordinances of Fairfield, Ohio.
(E) PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance determining the video service provider fee to be paid by a video service provider offering video service in the City pursuant to a state authorization; authorizing the City Manager to give notice to the video service provider of the fee; and declaring an emergency.
(F) FINANCE & BUDGET COMMITTEE (1) Appropriation Ordinance (Contractual Items) - $39,450 design and project management services/North Route 4 Gateway Stanchion Project.
(2) Appropriation Ordinance (Non-Contractual Items) - $11,440 design of U.S. 127 Resurfacing from John Gray Road to Symmes Road; $5,000 interior design/furnishing selection services for the Fairfield Greens/South Trace Golf Course Club House Project; $15,000 CDBG funding reimbursement for Big Brothers/Big Sisters after school mentoring program.
