6. Old Business (A) PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance to authorize the City Manager to execute a lease of the city-owned radio tower at Harbin Park to the Board of Butler County Commissioners for the county-wide radio system and declaring an emergency.
7. New Business (A) DEVELOPMENT SERVICES COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Ortman Construction, LLC for project management services for the Municipal Building Renovation Project.
(2) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager enter into a revised contract with Michael Schuster Associates (MSA) for architectural design services for the Municipal Building Renovation Project Design and declaring an emergency.
(3) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute the FY 2008 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application and agreement and declaring an emergency.
(B) PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Don S. Cisle, Inc. for construction of the LeSaint Drive Reconstruction Improvements and declaring an emergency.
(2) Ordinance to appropriate to public use certain interests in real property identified in plans prepared by CDS Associates, Inc. and entitled “State Route 4 and West Crescentville Intersection Improvements Project” and declaring an emergency.
(C) COMMUNITY & PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE (1) Simple Motion: Reappointment of Donald Hassler and Dave Bock to the Butler County Transportation Improvement District for a term of office retroactive to October 15, 2007 through October 14, 2009. (D) PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Motorola for the purchase of an additional radio console and related equipment and declaring an emergency.
(E) FINANCE & BUDGET COMMITTEE (1) Appropriation Ordinance (Contractual Items) - $62,400 project management services/Municipal Building remodeling project; $96,500 revised contract for architectural services/Municipal Building Renovation Project Design.
(2) Appropriation Ordinance (Contractual Items) - $604,072 LeSaint Drive Reconstruction Improvements; $78,931 radio system console.
(3) Appropriation Ordinance (Non-Contractual Items) - $60,000 for disposal of excavated materials and debris from various city projects (under existing contract with Rumpke).
