Old Business (A) PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance to authorize the City Manager to execute a lease of the city-owned radio tower at Harbin Park to the Board of Butler County Commissioners for the county-wide radio system and declaring an emergency.
(B) DEVELOPMENT SERVICES COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Ortman Construction, LLC for project management services for the Municipal Building Renovation Project.
(2) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a revised contract with Michael Schuster Associates (MSA) for architectural design services for the Municipal Building Renovation Project Design and declaring an emergency.
(C) FINANCE & BUDGET COMMITTEE (1) Appropriation Ordinance (Contractual Items) - $62,400 project management services/Municipal Building remodeling project; $96,500 revised contract for architectural services/Municipal Building Renovation Project Design.
7. New Business (A) PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMITTEE (1) Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the City of Hamilton regarding the update of the delineation study of the wellfield areas serving the City of Hamilton to New Baltimore Groundwater Consortium and declaring an emergency.
(B) PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance releasing the maintenance bond and accepting public improvements for the Woodridge Boulevard Extension Plat.
(C) COMMUNITY & PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE (1) Simple Motion: Motion approving the Council Committee Assignments for 2008 and 2009. (2) Simple Motion: Motion appointing the following residents to the Environmental Resources and Community Forest Commission: Andrew Glatfelter, term expiring 3/31/09; Tom Walsh, term expiring 3/31/09; Veronica Craig, term expiring 3/31/09; Ruth Wells, term expiring 3/31/10; Karen Fields, term expiring 3/31/10; Michael Lane, term expiring 3/31/10; Steve Welte, term expiring 3/31/11; Kris Roselle, term expiring 3/31/11; and Christine Hacker, term expiring 3/31/11. (D) FINANCE & BUDGET COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance to establish salaries and hourly rates for certain salaried and hourly employees of the City of Fairfield, Ohio and to authorize and limit the numbers and types of certain employees, to repeal Ordinance No. 75-07 and all amendments thereto and declaring an emergency.
(2) Appropriation Ordinance (Non-Contractual Items) - $22,000 completion of the Public Works storage facility; $10,100 purchase of miscellaneous furniture, fixtures and equipment for the Fairfield Greens South Trace Club House.
(3) Appropriation Ordinance (Year End Transfers).
(4) An Ordinance to make estimated appropriations for the expenses and other expenditures of the City of Fairfield, Ohio, during a period beginning January 1, 2008 and ending December 31, 2008. (2008 Operating Budget)
