Old Business (A) DEVELOPMENT SERVICES COMMITTE (1) Ordinance to amend Section 1105.01(11) of Ordinance No. 166-84, the Codified Ordinances of Fairfield, Ohio to adopt certain revisions to the Design, Construction and Materials Specifications Handbook to reflect changes and current industry standards in construction techniques and specifications for materials used in construction of public improvements.
(2) Ordinance amending Chapters 921, 925, 1105, 1109 and 1113 of Ordinance No. 166-84, The Codified Ordinances of Fairfield, Ohio, relative to water , sewer, and subdivision regulations.
(B) PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance to authorize the release of the maintenance bond and accept the public improvements for Lunsford Estates Subdivision.
7. New Business (A) PARKS, RECREATION & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance amending Sections 170.01 and 170.02 of Ordinance No. 166-84, the Codified Ordinances of Fairfield, Ohio to change the City of Fairfield Community Forest Commission to the Environmental Resources and Community Forest Commission.
(2) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Century Equipment, Inc. for the purchase of one (1) Toro Groundsmaster 4100-D Mower.
(B) PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE (1) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with H & H Structural Contracting, Inc. for the construction of a storage room addition for the Public Works Facility and declaring an emergency.
(2) Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Glenn J. Ruff, Inc. to perform demolition services associated with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant buy-out program.
(3) Ordinance levying special assessments for the repair of sidewalks (including aprons) in the City of Fairfield, Ohio and declaring an emergency.
(C) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE (1) Simple Motion: Motion approving changes to City Council’s meeting schedule as it relates to 2008 budget review sessions and the upcoming holiday season. (D) FINANCE & BUDGET COMMITTEE (1) Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor.
(2) Appropriation Ordinance (Contractual Items) - $72,000 addition of storage room/Public Works Facility; $42,372 Toro mower for Parks Maintenance Division.
(3) Appropriation Ordinance (Non-Contractual Items) - $13,693 additional funding for ODOT/streetscape project on Route 4; $12,000 extension of construction management services/Golf Club House Project; $12,206 purchase of furniture, fixtures & equipment/Golf Club House Project; $10,500 irrigation system/Golf Club House Project; $42,525 reconcile accounts for Cincinnati Mills Tax Incentive Financing Agreement.
