Legislation Summary No. 1-2008

Following is a summary of legislation adopted by the Fairfield City Council on January 14, 2008.  A complete text may be viewed at the following Fairfield locations:  Fairfield Municipal Building (Room 138), Fairfield Lane Public Library, Fairfield YMCA, Fairfield Golf and Community Center, and the Wildwood Manor House.

Ord. 1-08  Authorization to execute a lease of the City-owned radio tower at Harbin Park to the Board of Butler County Commissioners for the County-wide radio system.   

Ord. 2-08  Contract with Cargill, Inc. for the purchase of road salt.          

Ord. 3-08  Authorization to execute and submit a 2008 ODNR/Division of Watercraft Grant Application for a waterway access point along the Great Miami River.         

Ord. 4-08  Wage and Salary Ordinance for certain salaried and hourly employees.              

Ord. 5-08  2008 Budget Amendments:  $146,000 for street and entry way landscaping; $80,000 for drainage program; and $22,880 for construction management services for Waterworks Park/Nuxhall Pavilion Project.
