Weekly Docket

The Fairfield Municipal Court operates on a weekly docket schedule for hearings, arraignments and trials to be heard before the court.

• Monday: Civil trials
• Tuesday morning: Arraignments; review of special requirements placed on defendants and weekly report by the probation officer involving defendants failing to comply with the judge's orders
• Tuesday afternoon: Uncontested pleas in cases represented by an attorney and civil cases
• Wednesday morning: Arraignments (with appearances by persons with serious traffic and criminal charges)
• Wednesday afternoon: Pretrials
• Wednesday evening: Small claims court
• Thursday morning: Contested cases; preliminary hearings
• Friday: Jury trials
