Weekly Docket
The Fairfield Municipal Court operates on a weekly docket schedule for hearings, arraignments and trials to be heard before the court.
- Monday: Civil trials
- Tuesday morning: Arraignments; review of special requirements placed on defendants and weekly report by the probation officer involving defendants failing to comply with the judge's orders
- Tuesday afternoon: Uncontested pleas in cases represented by an attorney and civil cases
- Wednesday morning: Arraignments (with appearances by persons with serious traffic and criminal charges)
- Wednesday afternoon: Pretrials
- Wednesday evening: Small claims court
- Thursday morning: Contested cases; preliminary hearings
- Friday: Jury trials
