Participation in the Beautiful Fairfield Home Improvement Contest is limited to residential properties located in Fairfield, Ohio.

One entry is permitted for each category per household. (Households can submit one entry for each category.)

The improvement being submitted can include an interior or exterior construction project, or an exterior landscaping improvement.

The improvement must have been completed after January 1, 2007 and must be completed by the time of submission.

Entries should include a “before” and an “after” picture to permit the judges to see the scope and impact of the improvement. (Only one “before” picture and only one “after” picture may be submitted.)

Entries shall be accepted until August 31, 2008.

Entries will be judged during the first week of September 2008. Winners will be announced on September 13, 2008, during the annual September Dayz celebration in Village Green Park. The decision of the judges will be final.

The one grand prize winner in each category will receive a $500 gift certificate and a yard sign that can be displayed in the winner’s yard. Two grand prizes will be awarded, including a $500 gift certificate to Kroger and a $500 gift certificate to Jungle Jim’s.

Households of City of Fairfield employees may not participate in the contest.
