Fairfield’s business community is especially important to the viability and vitality of the City’s future. The City’s 12 largest business employers were honored during March at a special reception, which showcased the new clubhouse at the Fairfield Greens South Trace.

Collectively, the 12 companies invited to the reception employ more than 9,000 workers and are responsible for about 28 percent of Fairfield’s tax revenues, which have outpaced expenditures in recent years.

The reception provided key staff members, elected officials, school officials, and representatives of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce an opportunity to meet company executives and informally converse on a variety of topics. The event also enabled those in attendance to establish personal connections in the event the companies needed to discuss issues or ideas in the future.
