Tina is responsible for accurately recording and reporting revenues and expenses for the City.  She manages inventory records for City-owned property and prepares the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, which is audited annually by an independent public accounting firm. The Accounting Division consists of a staff of three full-time employees and one part-time employee.

Background:

Prior to joining the City of Fairfield in June 2001, Tina was an auditor for the Auditor of State’s Office of Ohio, responsible for planning and performing audits for various governmental entities including schools, cities, counties, villages and townships.

Thanks in part to Tina’s efforts, the City of Fairfield Finance Department earned the Government Finance Officer’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005.

She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Government Finance Officer Association, Ohio Government Finance Officer Association and Greater Cincinnati Finance Officer Association.

Personal interests/family:

Tina is married to Jeff Williams, Finance Officer/Tax Commissioner for the City of Springdale. She enjoys scrap booking and reading.
