Tom oversees the collection of the Fairfield income tax and provides online, in-person, and telephone assistance to taxpayers and tax professionals. He ensures the enforcement of tax rules and regulations.

Background:

Prior to joining the City of Fairfield in 2006, Tom spent 18 years with the City of Cincinnati Income Tax Division. His positions there included Income Tax Examiner, Accountant 2 and Senior Accountant. In his last position, he managed the Delinquency Resolution and Collection section, where he developed a strategic collection plan and general criteria for assigning cases to collection agency, civil and/or criminal action.

Tom is a member of the Southwestern Ohio Tax Administrators Association.

Personal interests/family:

Tom is married with two children. He enjoys fishing and woodworking.
