| Citizens Fire AcademyThe Fairfield Fire Department conducts its Citizen Fire Academy every year to enhance and develop citizen awareness and understanding of the Fire Department’s role in the community. It improves the overall working relationship of citizens and firefighters and form a partnership for a safer city. Classes in the 10-week session are taught by Fire Department employees. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with the Fire Chief and staff members. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and to express their concerns to Fire Department employees.
