“Autism Awareness”

The seminar will be held August 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fairfield Fire Station #2, 6540 Dixie Highway, Fairfield.

Jonathan Willis is a seven year career firefighter/paramedic with the Miami Township Division of Fire and EMS. He is the father of a 5 ½ year old son diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. He specializes in training Police, Fire and EMS responders in the recognition and approach to the autistic patient. His efforts have been featured in the Dayton Daily News and on the Dayton local NBC affiliate. He is a Special Needs guest lecturer for Sinclair Community College EMS program.
