Visitors to the Fire Department are often greeted by Jazz, a 13-year-old Dalmatian and the Fire Department’s mascot.

Jazz, short for Jasmin, joined the FFD when she was just a year old, following an emergency at her family’s residence.

She’s proven to be a great teacher, helping to instruct the city’s children in fire and home safety. Jazz can frequently be found "showing off" for Fire Department guests while she performs her stop-drop-roll routine.
