Alternative School students attend school from 7:20 a.m. to 10:26 a.m. and then are dismissed in order to go to a job site. Students earn a grade and school credit according to their performance at that job site. Work-study teachers visit job sites to help determine student progress, to talk to employers about student progress, and to make sure that the job is appropriate for the student.
