5350 Pleasant Ave. 513-867-5300 (phone) 513-867-5329 (fax) administration@fairfield-city.org | Welcome: Guides: Organizations: Fairfield Community Foundation Types of fundsThe board of trustees have established the following funds: The Unrestricted Fund: There is great need for unrestricted donations in these early years of the Foundation. Because the earnings on unrestricted funds can be distributed at the discretion of the board, we can respond quickly to diverse and critical community needs. Money donated to this fund will serve needs and crises we can't otherwise hope to address and will build the Foundation. Special Purpose Funds: Special purpose funds include: Scholarship Fund to assist needy and deserving students who live within the boundaries of the Fairfield School District; Arts and Culture Fund; Parks, Beautification and Recreational Fund; Historic Preservation Fund; Senior Citizens, Youth Program, Handicapped Citizen Activities Fund and the Joe Nuxhall Character Education Fund. Named Funds: These funds have specific purposes and require a significant donation to establish. Earnings from named funds will be used only for the specific purpose named by the donor. Estate Planning Funds: Charitable remainder trusts, insurance annuities and other estate planning programs can be tailor made to meet your personal requirements. A representative of the Fairfield Community Foundation will be happy to meet with your accountant or lawyer to discuss these options. Last updated: 6/12/2007 |
