The Fairfield Municipal Court operates on a weekly docket schedule for hearings, arraignments and trials to be heard before the court.

Monday: Civil trials

Tuesday morning: Arraignments; review of special requirements placed on defendants and weekly report by the probation officer involving defendants failing to comply with the judge's orders.

Tuesday afternoon: Uncontested pleas in cases represented by an attorney and civil cases

Wednesday morning: Arraignments (with appearances by persons with serious traffic and criminal charges)

Wednesday afternoon: Pretrials

Wednesday evening: Small claims court

Thursday morning: Contested cases; preliminary hearings

Friday: Jury trials
