For more than six years, the Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department has offered great free summer entertainment in the weekly Groovin' on the Green concert series. But that's not your only opportunity for free entertainment. Check out these concerts and special events taking place on Village Green this summer:

The annual concert series takes place Thursday nights from May 24 through August 30. This year's lineup features Robin Lacy & Dezydeco, the Miami University Steel Band, The Menus and more. See the full schedule.

New for 2007, this Monday night concert series focuses on the sounds of Jazz and Swing. Three concerts are scheduled on the third Mondays of June, July and August. Click for more details.

Rozzi's famous fireworks will light the sky over Fairfield on July 3, capping off an evening of entertainment with concerts, the Fairfield Idol finals, a hot air balloon glow and other Independence Day fun. Get the latest updates.
