Heidi oversees the day-to-day operations and activities of the Fairfield Community Arts Center with specific attention to arts programming and rentals. She develops the budget, makes long-range plans, supervises marketing and publicity, manages fundraising and grant efforts, and provides supervision for the artistic direction of the FCAC.

Background:

Before moving to Ohio, Heidi worked for six years as the Business Manager for the Pensacola Little Theatre, in Pensacola, Florida, the oldest continually operating community theatre in the southeast United States. She also served on PLT’s Artistic Committee and directed one show a season as a volunteer director. While working for PLT, Heidi was also an adjunct instructor for Pensacola Junior College, teaching a survey course in theatre. 

She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Directing from the University of Hawaii and has more than 20 years experience in all aspects of community and college theatre.

Heidi serves on the Board of Directors of the Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra, is a member of Fairfield Rotary and Fairfield Women and volunteers as a stage director for Fairfield Footlighters.

Personal interests/family:

Heidi and her husband, Robert, have one son, Evan Matthew.

When she has time, Heidi likes to perform on stage, both singing and acting. Through her college studies, she has more than 80 hours of training in Stage Combat, which she recently used as Fight Choreographer for Fairfield High School’s production of West Side Story.

She also plays the piano and enjoys reading, computer games and traveling.
