Cindi is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive recreation program for the benefit of Fairfield’s citizens. She plans, organizes, directs, supervises and coordinates the daily recreational program operation throughout the Parks and Recreation Department. She prepares budget recommendations and oversees financial activities, reporting, and expenditures for her areas of responsibility, which include programming that takes place at the Community Arts Center, Aquatic Center and local parks. 

Background:

Cindi is a 1994 Graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. There, she received the President’s Distinguished Service Award (1994) and the Parents Council Certificate of Merit Award (1992, 1993 and 1994).

Prior to working at the City of Fairfield, she taught school at the Elementary and Junior High levels and was the Director of a local daycare center.

Cindi is a member of the National Recreation and Parks Administration, the Ohio Parks and Recreation Administration and the City of Fairfield Fireworks Committee. She has also served on the Board of Trustees for Senior Citizens Inc., City of Fairfield Millennium Committee, City of Fairfield 50^th Anniversary Committee, City of Fairfield Veterans Park Committee and City of Fairfield Volunteer Recognition Committee.

Cindi was named a Fairfield STAR Award nominee in 2002 and a quarterly STAR award winner in 2001.

Personal interests/family:

Cindi enjoys spending time with her husband, Robert, and children Brittani, Travis and Ashley. She also enjoys walking and playing golf.
