9/30/2008How can I reserve a park facility? To reserve a facility, call the Fairfield Parks and Recreation office at 513-867-5348 or stop by the Fairfield Community Arts Center at 411 Wessel Drive. Grange Park: The fee for the Grange is $25 for a weekday for residents and $75 for a weekend date. The rental fee includes a 6-hour rental time. The fee for non-residents is $75 for a weekday and $150 for a weekend.There is also a $100 deposit due at the time of registration. Harbin Park: Each shelter holds approximately 50 people . There is no charge for Fairfield residents to reserve a shelter from Monday through Friday. Weekend rates are $25 for residents and $40 for non-residents. Community Arts Center: Several of the rooms at the Community Arts Center are available for rental. See rates and room descriptions. Fees are due at the time of registration. Payment can be made by cash, check or Visa/MasterCard. I'd like to register for a Parks and Recreation program, what do I need to do? Registration for all programs takes place at the Fairfield Golf and Community Center at 411 Wessel Drive. All fees for all programs have to be paid at the time of registration. You also may register over the phone at 513-867-5348 by paying by Visa or MasterCard. Registration forms may be downloaded. Completed forms should be brought or mailed to the Parks and Recreation office, along with fee payment. How do I contact a park ranger? The City of Fairfield park rangers can be reached through the Fairfield Police Department dispatch at 513-689-7820. What is the brush chipping program? On the second Saturday of each month, residents may drop off limbs at the north end of Waterworks Park on Groh Lane. The program operates from 8 a.m. until noon. You must be a Fairfield resident to use this program. |
