The Fairfield Greens courses sponsor various events during the summer for younger golfers.

Junior Golf Camp, Ages 8-12

Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with Nuxhall’s Driving Range, announce the annual golf camp for boys and girls, ages 8-14. There will be two separate weeks this year.
Week 1 (June 9-12): This camp is for boys and girls ages 8-12.
Week 2 (June 23-26): This camp is for boys and girls with experience in golf ages 11-14.

Camp is geared to the newer player to golf and includes instruction in full swing, chipping, putting, rules and etiquette as well as miniature golf tournaments, a nine hole round at Fairfield Greens North Trace and an afternoon of swimming at the Fairfield Aquatic Center. Each camp runs from 9-11 a.m. Monday - Wednesday, and 11 am to ? on Thursday. Cost is $70 and you must pre-register at the North Trace. Class size is limited, so sign up early. R.E.A.C.H. for Golf/Junior Golf, Ages 9-17

This program for junior golfers from 9-17 years old will be held in conjunction with a national program called REACH (Rules, Etiquette, Appreciation, Conduct, History). The 2008 R.E.A.C.H. card will be good Monday through Friday at both of the city courses, except during outing and leagues. The card will also be good on Saturday, Sunday and holidays after noon. * Anyone who already has a R.E.A.C.H. card may pay this $10 fee and get their updated sticker at anytime at the North Trace Pro Shop

Junior Golf League, Ages 17 and under

The staff at the North Trace would like to invite you and your friends to participate in our summer Junior League for kids 17 and under during the months of June and July this summer. This league will meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings you will be playing nine holes with tee times starting at 8 am and running thru 10 am. Your cost will be $6 per round if you have your 2008 R.E.A.C.H. or $9 per round if you are not a R.E.A.C.H. member. We hope to see you often as we are excited to present you the opportunity to play our executive course. See you at the course!
