Fairfield's Oakwood Park is 23 acres nestled among Fairfield homes and neighborhoods. the park is surprisingly secluded and an unexpected treat to first-time visitors.

From Oak Tree Drive, park visitors will enter the park by grated stairs and a small, bridge walkway over a small creek. Standing on the bridge looking through the tunnel of trees on either side provides a scenic view without going far to find it.

Basketball courts, soccer fields and ball diamonds are surrounded by plenty of room to run and play. A shelter house, picnic facilities and a playground complete the park's amenities.
