Memorial Day Parade

Fairfield will commemorate Memorial Day with the City’s eighth annual parade and observance on Monday, May 26. The parade will begin at Medco Health Solutions, with units turning left from the company’s parking lot onto Hicks Boulevard beginning at 10 a.m.

The parade will proceed along Hicks to Nilles Road, where units will make a right turn to head west on Nilles Road, then left onto Bibury Road. The procession will turn right onto Wessel Drive and continue to Veterans Memorial Park, where a brief ceremony will pay tribute to all veterans past and present. Guest speakers will include Mayor Ron D’Epifanio and representatives from AmVets Post #71 and VFW Post #1069.

This year, the Hamilton-Fairfield Concert Band will perform patriotic music and other favorites at Veteran’s Memorial Park before, during, and after the parade, from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
