The quarterly FAirfield VOlunteer Response (FAVOR) newsletter offers updates on volunteer projects and volunteer needs.

VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION - 2007

On April 26, 2007, volunteers were honored at the annual Volunteer Dinner. The theme was Culinary Nights and volunteers received pizza cutters, spatulas, measuring spoons, ice cream scoops and aprons. Three caterers were on hand to show off some fabulous dishes. Fifteen individuals were nominated for awards as well as one local community group. Four awards were given out that evening.

Our nominees were: Fairfield Footlighters and Young Life for the Community Service Award; Jeni Brodsky, Sharon Ko, Kathleen Michitti, and Ray Sullivan for the Volunteer Spirit Award; Christine Bourgholtzer, Tyler Hall, Kaitlin Hettinger, Kaitlin and Kevin McCune, Lisa Potter, Marissa Wynn, and Robert Yaptango for the Youth Service Award; and Shirley Howard, Debbie Rhees, and Charlie Shelton for the Government Service Award.

The award recipients were:
