You are always welcome to call the police or the school district if you need assistance. But sometimes students, parents or concerned citizens are reluctant to report criminal activity due to the possibility of retribution from the suspected wrongdoers.

That is why we created the Fairfield Police Department / Fairfield City Schools Anonymous Crime and Drug Tip Line, called SPEAK UP!

This is a way to report any suspected criminal activity to the proper authorities. You do not have to leave your name and no will make any attempt to contact you.

to provide information about suspected criminal activity and a detective will investigate the situation. If you wish to leave your name and number, a detective will contact you directly. If you report improper conduct occurring outside of Fairfield, the information will be forwarded to the appropriate police agency.

The community, working with the police and the schools, can help keep pour neighborhoods secure and our children safe.

WHAT TO REPORT:

• Suspected drug activity in a neighborhood
• Suspected drug activity in a neighborhood or school
• A bullying situation within a school
• Suspected child or sexual abuse in a home
• The location of people who have arrest warrants
• Suspected criminal activity on a school bus, in your neighborhood,or by a family member (anonymously!)
• Possible possession of a weapon by a student
