| Welcome: Police: Police reports Obtaining a police reportThe Fairfield Police Department Records Section maintains traffic accident and crime reports. Copies can be obtained by visiting the Police Department during business hours, or by making a written request and providing a self-addressed, stamped envelope. There is no charge for a single accident or basic police report. You will need to know the case number, or you may provide the complainant's name and date of the complaint, or the date and location of the traffic accident. The Ohio Public Records Law makes most basic incident reports public records. There are a number of exceptions in the law that do not permit us to release some reports to the general public. For more information, contact the Records Section at 513-867-6030, option 5. Last updated: 4/20/2007 |
