Commander, Support Services Division – Lt. Ken Gerold

Ken manages the Support Services Division of the police department.  He is responsible for the 9-1-1 Center, Records, Section, Property and Evidence Section, the Temporary Holding Facility, Warrant Service and Accreditation.  His mission is to insure a high quality of support to police officers and the community in the delivery of police services.

Background: 

Lt. Gerold was promoted in January, 2008.  He began his police career as a police officer  in 1988, and was promoted to Sergeant in 1998.   

Ken attended the University of Cincinnati and has completed the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command.

Personal interests/family:

Ken is married and has one daughter, and two dogs.  He enjoys camping, hiking, and reading, especially about history.
