Drew manages the staff of the City’s Wastewater Division, a 10 MGD Advanced Activated Sludge Treatment Facility. He directs the operation and maintenance of the treatment plant and collection system to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements and serves as the legal Operator of Record for all EPA compliance submissions. 

Background:

Drew has worked with the City of Fairfield since 1982, first as a Certified Master Automotive Technician for city’s Public Works Department, then as Operator in Responsible Charge at the city’s wastewater treatment plant and Chief Operator before moving into his present position.

He is a member of the Water Environment Federation and Southwest Ohio Water Environment Association.

He was recognized by the Department of Energy through a case study for energy management strategies relative to the operation of a treatment facility.  

Personal interests/family:

Drew enjoys sprint kart racing with my son, Michael, at the regional and national level. They work together to maintain equipment and ensure Michael’s competitiveness.
