Gilmore Road 513-867-4200 (phone) 513-867-5329 (fax) public_works@fairfield-city.org | Welcome: Public Works: Streets: Projects LeSaint Drive ReconstructionThe LeSaint Drive reconstruction project commence construction the week of April 7, 2008. This project consists of removing the existing concrete road surface and replacing the road with an asphalt surface. This necessitates the complete removal of the concrete surface in preparation for the new asphalt surface. This project will eliminate the need for annual maintenance due to settlement and deterioration that continually occurs with the existing concrete roadway. During the reconstruction, there will be several phases of project detours. This first and second phase of the project will have traffic on a one-way travel detour (northbound only), with detour signs being posted for the remainder of the project. There is an interim phase which will require the complete replacement of the existing railroad spur crossing surface, which requires a complete closure of the road to through traffic at the railroad spur crossing with signs posted for the detour while the work occurs. The total project is estimated to take approximately three months to complete, and is weather dependent. Project Bid: $ 550,000 |
