Current and upcoming road projects
The City of Fairfield includes street improvement programs in its capital improvement program. Improvements are scheduled on an annual basis according to need and available funding resources.
Street improvements include resurfacing, widening and other major improvements which are not categorized under normal street maintenance programs.
Information on the status of current or future projects may be obtained by contacting the Construction Services Division at 513-867-4200 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or below.
Bypass 4 Widening - State Route 4 to Symmes Road
This project will add two additional lanes to Bypass 4 from State Route 4 at the south, north to Symmes Road. This project will also include the realignment of the intersection of Sate Route 4 and Bypass 4. The project is in the early stages of design.LeSaint Drive Reconstruction
This project will replace the existing concrete road surface with an asphalt road surface.State Route 4 and Crescentville Road
This project will improve the southern corridor of S. R. 4 to provide an additional northbound lane from Crescentville Road to Furniture Fair Drive.Traffic Signal Installation and Upgrade
Traffic Signal Upgrade at two intersections (Pleasant Avenue @ Magie Avenue, and River Road @ Cole Drive/Vinnedge Avenue), and a new traffic signal installation at the intersection of Mack Road and Benzing Drive.
