The City's dedication to the preservation of art, drama and music remains a priority for city officials. The City recognizes the educational value of the arts and continues to support efforts to increase arts appreciation.

Cultural Arts Advisory Commission
Opened in May 2005, the Fairfield Community Arts Center, houses a 237-seat theater, an arts and crafts studio, dance and fitness studio, children’s room, senior lounge, classroom, a multi-purpose community / banquet room with a balcony overlooking Village Green Park, and an art gallery.
The Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of artistic and creative classes for both children and adults. See classes currently being offered.
As a sponsor of the Fairfield Summer Community Theatre, the City provides financial support for the group's annual theatre production. These efforts allow Fairfield actors and actresses to tap their dramatic talents, while providing entertainment for the community.
The strong performing arts and music programs of the Fairfield City Schools also provides Fairfield residents enjoyable, convenient access to the arts.
In its 50th anniversary season, the Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra has become a mainstay of the arts community in Butler County. The HFSO schedules numerous performances throughout the county each season.
The past years brought about the growth of the City of Fairfield's own art collection.
Bronze sculptural pieces were introduced at Village Green Park and the Fairfield Lane Public Library and other locations around Fairfield.
In addition, the City commissioned mural artist Eric Henn to paint the Fairfield Post Office in commemoration of the City's 50th anniversary in 2005.
