From the beautifully appointed Community Room, with its large dance floor and balcony overlooking Village Green Park, to the state-of-the art theater, the Fairfield Community Arts Center is the perfect settings for meetings and special occasions.

The Community Room provides an ideal setting for dinners, dances, luncheons, weddings, parties and business meetings. The 2,700-foot banquet room can seat just under 200 for dinner with a dance floor or can be divided into three smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings or meetings.

Planning Your Wedding Reception or Banquet

A six-hour rental of the Community Room includes the set up of tables and chairs, white table cloths, skirting on all buffet tables, and the use of available AV equipment: ceiling-drop projector and 7-foot screen, laptop hookup, CD & DVD player, iPod, and one hand-held wireless microphone.

Catering should be coordinated with one of our Preferred Caterers. With 18 currently on the list, there are choices to fit every taste and budget. The FCAC is proud to be your preferred beverage and alcohol provider. View the Beverage Service information.

You do not have to be a resident of Fairfield to rent a room at the Community Arts Center, but residents do receive a 10% discount.

You can hold your preferred date for up to two weeks without payment while you are finalizing your plans. After that date, a deposit of 50% should be made with the balance due 30 days before your event.

The viewing policies are quite informal and you do not need to make an appointment to view the Community Room. The FCAC is open 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. The best viewing time is Saturday morning when the room is being prepared for that evening’s event. After viewing the room, please contact the Community Arts Center Manager to finalize your plans.

Looking for an intimate location for your wedding ceremony? The Art Gallery on the first floor of the Community Arts Center provides an elegant and unique setting for your special day. Booked in conjunction with the Community Room, the Art Gallery rental fee includes 85 white garden chairs, a white-satin covered arch, and your choice of sound system or Yamaha piano.

The Fairfield Community Arts Center is located at the heart of Fairfield's Village Green adjacent to Village Green Park, which provides a beautiful backdrop for special event photos and a play area for children.

Elisha Morgan Mansion at Gilbert Farms Park

The Parks and Recreation Department also manages the Elisha Morgan Mansion on Ross Road. This beautifully restored circa 1817 historic home is perfect for small parties, rehearsal dinners, or intimate wedding receptions. Includes use of lawn area and outdoor Gazebo. (Outdoor ceremonies in the Gazebo must secure rental of the Elisha Morgan Mansion.) Seating for up to 42 on the first floor with additional seating for 42 on the second floor without dance floor. Seating for 63 total in the house when using one room as a small dance floor.
