Butler County offers a program to assist homeowners with emergency repairs. The repair must be one which poses an immediate or crucial threat to the health and safety of the household.
Such repairs include:
In order to qualify, the home must be owner-occupied and not have delinquent property taxes. Rental units and mobile homes are not eligible. People Working Cooperatively (PWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping low income, elderly and disabled homeowners with critical home repairs, energy conservation and weatherization, mobility modifications and maintenance services.
