Home Repair Program

Need home repair assistance? Opportunities to assist are available with Butler County Community Development and People Working Cooperatively.

Butler County Community Development

Butler County offers a program to assist homeowners with emergency repairs. The repair must be one which poses an immediate or crucial threat to the health and safety of the household.

Such repairs include:

  • structural issues
  • roof repair
  • electrical
  • water/sewer connections
  • furnace replacement
  • plumbing

In order to qualify, the home must be owner-occupied and not have delinquent property taxes. Rental units and mobile homes are not eligible. For more information and to see if you qualify, please contact Butler County Community Development Department. Qualification is based upon the totalhousehold income.

People Working Cooperatively

People Working Cooperatively (PWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping low income, elderly and disabled homeowners with critical home repairs, energy conservation and weatherization, mobility modifications and maintenance services.

Types of repairs include:

  • plumbing
  • furnace replacement
  • handicapped accessible ramps
  • roof repair
  • electrical upgrades

Clients qualify based on their income level, where they live and what type of service is required. For more information and to see if you qualify, please contact PWC.
