The City of Fairfield Development Service Department is comprised of three divisions, including Economic Development, Planning, and Building & Zoning. The Department is responsible for all building and site plan reviews, comprehensive city planning, economic development, flood zone administration, building inspections, and property maintenance inspections.
The Department is devoted to growing, maintaining, and enhancing Fairfield's commercial and residential base. Staff prides itself on being business-friendly, with a sharp focus on customer service. The Department also provides support and guidance for City Council, Planning Commission, and the Board of Zoning Appeals.
Greg started with the City in 2005 as Economic Development Manager and was promoted to Department Director in October 2016.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Greg has a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in community planning. His 20 years of work experience includes previous positions with the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County Development Company.
Greg is active in the International Economic Development Council, the American Planning Association, REDI Cincinnati, the Ohio Economic Development Association, and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of both the Leadership Fairfield program and the Center for Local Government Leadership Academy.
