Building and Zoning Schedule of Fees

Building Permit Fees

One, two and three-family residences

• Minimum Permit Fee                    $25
• $2,001 to $100,000                    1/3 of one and one-half percent (1.5%) of the cost of the job plus  $15
• $100,001 and up                        1/5 of one and one-half percent (1.5%) of amount over $100,000 plus $500

Commercial, industrial and multi-family buildings

• Minimum Permit Fee                    $25
• $2,001 to $100,000                    3/5 of one and one-half percent (1.5%) of the cost of the job plus $15
• $100,001 and up                        1/5 of one and one-half percent (1.5%) of amount over $100,000 plus $915

Additional fees

• Commercial projects requiring plan review:  In addition to the total from the above fee schedule, add 10% plan review fee.
• All commercial projects:  In addition to the total from the above fee schedule, add State 3% assessment fee.

Electric fee schedule

Residential

• New single family dwelling               $60/residence
• Temporary service release               $25/residence, if applicable
• Temporary pole release                    $25/residence, if applicable
• Remodeling and additions                 $40
• Mail-in processing fee                       $3

Multi-unit structures

• First 12 units                                     $60/unit
• Each additional unit                           $50/unit

Commercial structures (new and additions)

• New structures or remodeling $5,000 or less         $40 base fee
• New structures or remodeling over $5,000             $75 base fee, plus $2 for every $1,000 valuation
• Temporary service release                                       $25, if applicable
• Temporary pole release                                            $25, if applicable
• Commercial permits requiring plan review              Add 10% plan review fee
• ALL cmomercial permits                                               Add 3% for State assessment

Other Fees

• Re-inspection fee                                                     $25/visit
• Swimming pool wiring                                             $25
• Swimming pool bonding (inground pools only)      $25
• Mobile home                                                             $25/space
• Baseboard strip heat                                                $25

HVAC fee schedule

Fee schedule "A".  Residential or commercial cost of project $10,000 or less

1. Heating only                                                          $40/unit
2. Cooling only                                                          $40/unit
3. Heating and cooling combined                              $60/unit
4. Miscellaneous heating equipment - additions/remodeling, space heaters, infrared heaters,unit heaters, refrigeration equipmnet, steam or hot water boilers, ect.      $40/unit
5. Multi-family                                                            $45/unit
6. Supply air and return air outlets                           $2/unit
7. Mail-in processing fee (Residential Only)            $3

Fee Schedule "B".  Commercial cost of project more than $10,000

• $10,000 or less                  See schedule "A" above
• $10,001 to $50,000                             $70, plus $3 per $1,000 valuation or part thereof over $10,000, plus item 6 above
• $50,001 to $100,000       $220, plus $2 per $1,000 valuation or part thereof over $50,000, plus item 6 above
• Over $100,000                  $420, plus $1 per $1,000 valuation or part thereof over $100,000, plus item 6 above

Gas piping

• Residential                         $35 base fee plus $3 mail-in processing fee, if applicable
• Commercial                        $35 base fee plus $3.50 per outlet or appliance
