The Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting two public meetings the week of June 23rd. Recently, the department enlisted the services of the Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands at Indiana University to help develop the department's next Master Plan. As part of this planning effort, it is important to receive public input along the way. The meetings will be held:
Tuesday, June 24 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Community Arts Center, 411 Wessel Dr.
Wednesday, June 25 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Community Arts Center, 411 Wessel Dr.
The meetings are open to the public and will be an additional opportunity to provide feedback and give the planning team thoughts on the parks and recreation system. We encourage all those interested in the future of parks and recreation in the Fairfield community to participate in this opportunity. There will be different stations set up that will allow the public to flow from topic to topic at their own pace.
We are hopeful to see you at the meetings! If you would like to participate but cannot, please visit www.fairfieldmasterplan.com and take the online survey or fill out a "Contact Us" form as an alternative.
