Mary manages the 24-person Finance Department, which includes the Accounting, Income Tax, Information Technology, Payroll, and Utility Billing & Collection operations. She is responsible for the operating and capital improvement program budget, investing City funds, managing City debt and representing the management on various committees.

Background:

Mary has more than 15 years in municipal finance, serving previously as the Assistant Finance Director for the cities of Willoughby Hills, Springboro and West Carrollton. Most recently, she was Fairfield’s Tax Administrator/Deputy Finance Director.

Mary is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association, Ohio Government Finance Officers Association, Southwest Ohio Municipal Finance Officers and Greater Cincinnati Government Finance Officers Association.  She was previously a member, chair, vice chair and program chair of the Southwest Ohio Tax Administrators Association and member and chair of the Ohio Municipal League Tax Committee.

Personal interests/family:

Mary and her husband have one daughter. She enjoys family and outdoor activities and reading and is a member of the parent organization for a Lakota school.
