Mary manages the Finance Department.  She is responsible for investing City funds, managing City debt, managing the operating and capital budgets, representing City management on various committees, and managing the Financial Services, Payroll, Income Tax, and Information Technology sections of the Finance Department.  Financial Services includes Accounting and Utility Billing operations, as well as financial reporting.  Payroll processes the City's bi-weekly payroll and manages all payroll reporting and filings.  Income Tax manages and collects the City's 1.5% income tax, which is the single largest revenue source for the City.  Informaton Technology manages the City's network, including all related computer equipment, and communications for the City.

Mary began her career in Ohio municipal finance while completing her bachelor's degree in Business Administration.  Mary has served as the Income Tax Administrator/Deputy Finance Director for Fairfield, and as an Assistant Finance Director for the cities of Willoughby Hills, Springboro, and West Carrollton.  Mary has a master's degree in Business Administration, which she received in 2008.

Mary is a member of both the national and state of Ohio Government Finance Officers and Public Treasurers Associations.  She is a member of the Southwest Ohio Municipal Finance Officers and the Greater Cincinnati Government Finance Officers Associations.  Mary has also been a member and officer for the Southwest Ohio Tax Administrators Association and the Ohio Municipal League Tax Committee.
