Educational Programs

Throughout the year, Fairfield’s Firefighters provide services far beyond daily readiness to respond to emergencies. Educational and prevention programs are offered to the community to better prepare citizens for times of crisis... or to avoid danger before it happens.

Following are a few of the educational opportunities offered by the Fairfield Fire Department.

EMS Continuing Education
The City of Fairfield Fire and EMS invite area paramedics and emergency rescue personnel to take part in an EMS Continuing Education presentation …

Citizens Fire Academy
The Fairfield Fire Department conducts its Citizen Fire Academy every year to enhance and develop citizen awareness and understanding of the Fire Department’s role in the community.

Fire Academy for Kids
The Fire Academy for Kids program introduces young people to many basic, but important skills that can help to prevent fires and save lives.

Fire Safety House
This interactive teaching aid lets kids get a hands-on lesson in fire and home safety.

Firehouse Visits and Parties
The Fairfield Fire Department loves to open its doors to residents, school classes and community groups.
