Carol oversees the Human Resources Office, responsible for recruiting and hiring, competitive compensation strategy, benefits, workers compensation and safety administration, employee/labor relations, HRIS recordkeeping and reporting, employee performance evaluations, policies and procedures.
Carol brings more than 30 years of HR experience to her position, which she began in February 2007. Prior to joining the City of Fairfield in 2001, Carol worked for 12 years in various Human Resources positions in the private sector.
She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and Wilmington College where she respectively received an Associates Degree in Legal Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Additionally, she is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Certified Labor Relations Professional (CLRP).
Carol is a member of the National Public Employers Labor Relations Association (NPELRA), Ohio Public Employers Labor Relations Association (OHPELRA), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Butler/Warren County SHRM.
Carol and her husband, Miles are residents of Fairfield. Their growing family includes three sons, two daughter-in-laws and one grandson. Her hobbies and interests are photography, gardening and fitness.
Prior to moving to Fairfield, Carol was active in the Pleasant Run Farms community and Northwest School District PTA.
