Primary Duties:

A successful candidate will design, code, implement, test, and maintain application code using ColdFusion and SQL Server.   This person will also be the SQL Server DBA maintaining several SQL Servers as well as act as project manager in the delivery of various internal client requirements.  The candidate must also have the capacity to work unsupervised, multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail.  The candidate must also have effective communication and interpersonal skills.  This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.  No relocation assistance, remote work or sponsorship is offered.

Desired Qualifications:

Requirements of this position include:

  1. ColdFusion Skills, including CFIDE
  2. SQL Server skills – Advanced skills with SQL querying and a full understanding of relational database design and SQL Server administration
  3. Experience in managing IIS is a plus
  4. UI & UX skills (deep front end skills) - Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop, User experience design, CSS, color theory
  5. Mobile First Web skills - Proficiency with JQuery, JavaScript, CSS and Twitter Bootstrap

 Experience with Mobile App – PhoneGap, App Titanium or equivalent and ColdFusion Report Writer and/or SQL Database Report Writer a plus.

Primary Duties:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Creates menus that satiate guests; assign prices to menu items
  • Maintains food, beverage and equipment inventories
  • Schedules and receives deliveries, checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality & quantity
  • Monitors food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing & presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared & presented in an acceptable manner
  • Supervises the collection of all fees, prepares daily records of receipts and deposits the same in accordance with established City policies
  • Maintains all records and reports concerning the operation of concessions, such as F&B sales, inventory, time sheets, incident forms, etc.
  • Arranges for equipment maintenance and repairs, and coordinate a variety of services such as waste removal and pest control.
  • Monitors compliance with health, liquor and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving; keeping records as required.
  • Schedules use of facilities or catering services for events such as banquets or receptions, and negotiate details of arrangments with clients.
  • Schedules staff hours and assign duties.
  • Participates in staff evaluations; reports staff discipline problems as needed.
  • Leads all training to include ServSafe Food Safety, Food Handlers, TIPS, Micros, Cash Handling and Customer Service.
  • Performs some food preparation or service tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary.
  • Ensures compliance with all City and department policies and procedures.
  • Performs other job-related duties as instructed/assigned.
Desired Qualifications:

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum Age: 21
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Professionally trained, college degree preferred, in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Food Service or Business Management.
  • 2-4 years experience as a restaurant manager/supervisor or food & beverage manager/supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge or food and beverage and its preparations, trends & competition
  • Strong knowledge of styles of service such as ala carte, buffet, casual dining and quick service.
  • Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws.
  • ServSafe and TIPS certifications required; can be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • Excellent computer skills with full command of Microsoft Outlook, Publisher and Excel.
  • Excelent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekend & holidays.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Indoor/outdoor environment, somtimes in extreme temperatures and with exposure to elements of nature.
  • Sitting, standing, bending, reach or lifting.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds, unassisted, on a daily basis.

Summary
Under general supervision of the Arts & Programs Manager, pour and dispense non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages to guests of legal age for theatre performances, room rentals, and special events at the Fairfield Community Arts Center. Includes set up and maintenance of beverages stations • Operate cash register for all concession sales • May include some simple food preparation and cleaning.

 

Hours: Primarily Weekend evenings, Saturday and Sunday days. Some weekday evenings as needed.

Requirement/Qualifications
Must be age 21 or older at time of hire. Experienced working face-to-face with customers in fast-paced situations. Food service and/or banquet industry a plus. Able to stand for long periods of time and capable of moderate physical effort including lifting average of 15-25lbs. Pay Range:
