Primary Duties:	The City of Fairfield is now accepting applications for the following part-time, seasonal positions: 1. Part-time Laborer 2. Lifeguard 3. Part-time Recreation Leader 4. Cashier
Desired Qualifications:	Must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Drivers License, and have the ability to pass a drug screen. Other qualifications/certifications specific to each position may be required.

Job Types

Some of our positions are considered "classified civil service" and require the successful completion of an examination process to be considered. Classified civil service positions include police officer, firefighter/paramedic, account clerk, clerk, meter reader, operator maintenance worker, mechanic and others. "Unclassified" jobs, such as part-time, temporary and seasonal positions, positions in the municipal court, administration, professional and management positions usually do not require an examination.
