The City of Fairfield recruits and hires a staff of skilled and knowledgeable workers to proudly serve the taxpayers of Fairfield.

Job Types

Some of our positions are considered "classified civil service" and require the successful completion of an examination process to be considered. Classified civil service positions include police officer, firefighter/paramedic, account clerk, clerk, meter reader, operator maintenance worker, mechanic and others. "Unclassified" jobs, such as part-time, temporary and seasonal positions, positions in the municipal court, administration, professional and management positions usually do not require an examination.

Primary Duties:	Main duties include concessions at the Community Arts Center. Hours may vary, but will generally be evenings, weekends and Holidays. Due to State liquor laws, must be at least 21 year of age to apply.
Desired Qualifications:	Successful candidates must have the ability to pass a Drug/Alcohol screen and criminal background check. Must also possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
Pay Range:	$7.30-$15.99 per hour
