FAIRFIELD SNOWBIRD GUIDELINES:

• Only residential accounts are eligible for the snowbird program.
  
  
• In order to cease billing, you must be willing to have your water service turned off for a minimum of 3 consecutive months.
  
  
• Winterization of the plumbing inside the home will be the decision and responsibility of the homeowner.
  
  
• A "Snowbird Application" must be completed and submitted to the Utility Billing Office at least one business day prior to the date of requested turn off.
  
  
• In order to have water turned back on, the resident must contact the Utility Billing Office at least one business day prior to the date of requested turn on.
  
  
• There are no charges associated with turning the water service off and on for snowbirds.
