Answers to questions commonly asked about Parks and Recreation programs, facilities and classes:

How can I reserve a park facility?

To reserve a facility, call the Fairfield Parks and Recreation office at 513-867-5348 or stop by the Fairfield Community Arts Center at 411 Wessel Drive.

Harbin Park: Harbin Park offers 12 picnic shelters, each holding up to 50 people, available for group use. Shelter house fees are $35 for residents and $50 for non-residents. There is a shelter house fee of $10 for residents on weekdays after 5 p.m., however residents are not charged for shelter use on weekdays before 5 p.m.   

Community Arts Center: Several of the rooms at the Community Arts Center are available for rental. See rates and room descriptions.

Elisha Morgan Mansion: The Elisha Morgan Mansion at Gilbert Farm Park is available for weekday and weekend rentals and can hold up to 65 for a seated event.

Phalen Center: The banquet center at Fairfield Greens / South Trace holds 25-130.

Fees are due at the time of registration. Payment can be made by cash, check or Visa/MasterCard.

I'd like to register for a Parks and Recreation program, what do I need to do?

Registration for all programs takes place at Fairfield Greens or Community Arts Center at 411 Wessel Drive.

All fees for all programs have to be paid at the time of registration. You also may register over the phone at 513-867-5348 by paying by Visa or MasterCard.

Registration forms may be downloaded. Completed forms should be brought or mailed to the Parks and Recreation office, along with fee payment.

How do I contact a park ranger?

The City of Fairfield park rangers can be reached through the Fairfield Police Department dispatch at 513-829-8201.

What is the brush chipping program?

On the second Saturday of each month, residents may drop off limbs at the north end of Waterworks Park on Groh Lane.

The program operates from 8 a.m. until noon.
