Gilbert Farms Park

Gilbert Farms Park offers everything from a history lesson to a spot for recreation to a quiet place to read and relax.

For the Sports Enthusiast

Gilbert Farms Park offers tennis courts, soccer fields, basketball courts and ball diamonds. Residents are encouraged to make use of the park's many amenities, all at no charge. A fitness trail offers a place for walking or jogging, and the park's many wide-open spaces are ideal for playing catch or frisbee throwing.

Fun for the Family

A playground, shelter house and picnic facilities make Gilbert Farms Park an ideal place for a family picnic. The park provides an open environment with playground equipment where children can slide, swing and climb.

For the History Buff

Nearly two centuries old, the Elisha Morgan Mansion is the centerpiece of Gilbert Farms Park. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the mansion is a treasured timepiece acquired by the City of Fairfield in 1980.
