Heidi oversees the day-to-day operations and activities of the Fairfield Community Arts Center with specific attention to arts programming, gallery exhibits and rentals. She develops the budget, makes long-range plans, supervises marketing and publicity, manages fundraising and grant efforts, and provides supervision for the artistic direction of the FCAC.

Background:

Before moving to Ohio in 2005, Heidi worked as the Business Manager for the Pensacola Little Theatre, in Pensacola, Florida, her hometown. She holds a BA from the University of West Florida, a Master of Fine Arts in Directing from the University of Hawaii, and has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of community and college theatre. She has won numerous community awards for directing, costume design, and set design.

Heidi serves on the Board of Directors for Fairfield Footlighters and is a past Board Member of the Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra. She is a member of Fairfield Rotary, Fairfield Women, Community Based Arts Center Leadership, and volunteers as a stage director for Fairfield Footlighters. She is a current member of the Ohio Arts Presenters Network, serving on the 2010 and 2011 Conference Committee, and was a panel speaker at the 2010 Conference in Columbus. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Fairfield.

She received a quarterly STAR Award in 2008 for her work with Fairfield High School drama.

Personal interests/family:

Heidi and her husband, Robert, have one son, Evan Matthew.

When she has time, Heidi likes to perform on stage, both singing and acting. Through her college studies, she has more than 80 hours of training in Stage Combat, which she used in 2010 as Fight Choreographer for Fairfield Footlighters productions of I Hate Hamlet and Grapes of Wrath. She plays the piano and enjoys reading, computer games and traveling.
