Parks and Recreation

Fairfield maintains 28 parks and recreation facilities, including an 18-hole and 9-hole golf courses, the Community Arts Center, an Aquatics Center, an 1817 farm mansion, a fishing lake, and a bike/hike path system. During the year, the Parks and Recreation staff conduct hundreds of special programs involving thousand of residents.

Fairfield Aquatic Center
Aquatic Center will be open Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7. The season opens on June 11th.

Fairfield Idol 2009
This it where it all begins in the search for Fairfield's next star. Open auditions will be held at the Community Arts Center to any resident of Fairfield and Fairfield Township (residence must be within the Fairfield City School District) ages 12 and older. Complete details are available here.

Marsh Lake is OPEN
The lake is currently open daily, weather permitting. If in doubt, call the bait house at 858-1685. Geared to the fishing enthusiast, Thomas O. Marsh Park features a pay fishing lake and a bait shop. Complete fishing details are available here.
