Police Department Staff

Meet the department and division heads who oversee the City's Police services. Click on the names below for more details about the positions and the people serving in them.

Chief - Michael J. Dickey, CLEE
Chief Mike Dickey is responsible for the leadership and administrative management of the Fairfield Police Department.

Lt. Kevin Haddix – Commander, Community Services Division
Lt. Haddix has the primary responsibility for criminal investigations, community relations, and the juvenile diversion program.

Lt. Ken Gerold – Commander, Operations Division
Lt. Gerold manages the day-to-day police services and related activities to insure that police officers and other employees provide excellent service to the community in order to provide a safe and secure environment.

Lt. Ken Colburn – Commander, Support Services Division
Lt. Colburn is responsible for the operation of the 9-1-1 Center, records unit, school officers, warrant unit, property and evidence unit, and the police facility.

Juvenile Diversion Counselor - Jean Wesseler
Jean coordinates the Juvenile Diversion Program, intervening with youth who have come into contact with the police for first-time, non-violent offenses.
