Call Before You Dig
The Ohio Utilities Protection Service provides a state-of-the-art call center that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer calls from anyone who intends to dig in the State of Ohio.
Right-of-way Permits and Applications
Construction work performed within the city's right-of-way must be inspected by the Public Works Department. This includes sidewalk, driveway aprons, curb, gutter, storm drainage, sewer line tie-ins, water main tie-ins, street construction and/or repairs and street cuts. Right-of-way permits are required when any person desires to occupy any portion of a street, sidewalk, or other public place in connection with work within the public right-of-way.
