FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Motorists are advised that Seward Road will be closed to through traffic between Port Union Road and Union Centre Boulevard / Symmes Road beginning Monday, June 3, 2013 and continuing for 75 days, weather permitting.
This is for work being performed by Mount Pleasant Blacktopping, under contract for the City of Fairfield. New pavement, utility adjustments, and roadside drainage improvements are included with this project.
During the closure a detour will be posted directing traffic around the site via Port Union Road to Bypass 4 to Symmes Road and via Port Union Road to SR 747 to Union Centre Boulevard.
Traffic for businesses within the construction limits will be maintained in the northbound direction only, southbound local traffic will follow the posted detour.
